Itinerary
Day 01: ARRIVAL DELHI
Arrive New Delhi Airport. Where you will be met, welcomed and transferred to your hotel, after fresh up and rest visit QutubMinar:QutubMinar is an excellent example of Afghan Architecture. The Minar is 72.5mts high victory tower, the construction of which began in the final year of twelth century by QutubuddinAibak and was later completed by his successor. It has been given World Heritage Site status,Lotus Temple situated atop the Kalkaji Hill. It is also known as "The Lotus Temple" due to its distinctive lotus shaped design in Marble. It was built in 1987 by the followers of Bahai faith. The temple signifies the purity and equality of all religions. Red Fort: Built by Shahjahan, the builder of Taj Mahal in Agra, The construction lasted from 1639 to 1648. Rajghat: The simple square platform of black marble marks the place where the father of the Nation, Mahatama Gandhi was cremated.Humayun's Tomb: Built by Humayun's widow, Queen Haji Begum in the 16th centuary, it is supposed to be the prototype of the Taj Mahal at Agra. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: DELHI - AGRA (205 KMS)
Early morning Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Agra. Afternoon visit world famous Taj Mahalto see the architectural modern day wonder of the world, the incomparable Taj Mahal. This monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. Agra the zenith of art and an enshrined romance. Taj Mahal a poem in white marble which took 22 years to build by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi-precious stones. Agra town lives mainly in the past. Once the seat of Mughal rulers. Their passion for building endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world.& the Agra city.
Day 03: AGRA -JAIPUR (235 KMS)
After Breakfast, drive straight to Jaipur and transfer to Hotel. After Check in Jaipur hotel take rest in Hotel. Evening visit to the fabled Pink City. Drive through the Johari Bazaar to the HawaMahal (Palace of Winds). Visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar. Pay a visit to the Govind Deoji Temple, housing the patron deity of Jaipur. Evening free for shopping, etc. Overnight stay in Jaipur Hotel.
Day 04: JAIPUR
After Breakfast at Hotel, start your city tour visit Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City and Visit to the Kanak Vrindavan Temple in the valley of flowers. You can also enjoy the Elephant ride in Jaipur. Evening drive to Delhi, Overnight Stay in Delhi at hotel.
Day 05:- DELHI-SRINAGAR
After Breakfast at Hotel, Transfer to airport to Srinagar for flight. Afternoon arrive Srinagar airport, assistance on arrival and proceed to houseboat check-in. Srinagar is also known as Paradise on Earth and The Venice of Asia. Afternoon Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (The Abode of Love) and famous Shankracharya temple. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.
Day 6:SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR (58 KMS ONE WAY)
After breakfast leave houseboat and proceed for full day excursion trip of Gulmarg (8700 ftsa.s.l) "Meadow of Flowers". Gulmarg has a famous Golf Course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf courses in the world) and Ski Resort during winter. One can have Gondola ride (Cable car) (on self-expenses basis). Return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight in houseboat/hotel.
Day 7: SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR (96 KMS ONE WAY)
After breakfast leave houseboat and proceed to Pahalgam (7200 ftsa.s.l) "Village of Shepherds" enroute visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th Century) and Martand Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the Natural beauty and river lidder. Return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight in houseboat/hotel.
Day 8:SRINAGAR - SONMARG - SRINAGAR (85 KMS ONE WAY)
After breakfast leave for full day excursion tour of Sonmarg (9000 ftsa.s.l) the "The Golden Meadow". Sonmarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland. Surrounded by mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajwas Range". Baltal (The Base Camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage) 15 Kms. North of Sonmarg. This little valley lies at the foot hill of Zojila. Return back to Srinagar for Dinner and overnight in houseboat/hotel.
Day 9:DEPARTURE - SRINAGAR
After breakfast Shikara ride on the lake and latter leave houseboat and proceed to Srinagar to board the flight for onward destination.
